⌚8:00 a.m. 🌞Qoricancha or Temple of the Sun: Main Inca religious site dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, built by Inca Pachacútec in the 15th century. The temple was a sacred place for the Incas and was used for religious ceremonies. It was dedicated to the sun god Inti, and its walls were covered in gold. The temple was partially destroyed by the Spanish in the 16th century. Nevertheless, several of its facilities remain intact, showcasing the grandeur of Inca architecture.
⌚10:30 a.m. 🌅 Sacsayhuaman: Impressive fortress with a unique design, located atop a hill about two kilometers north of the city of Cusco. It was built in the 15th century by the Incas and is believed to have been used as a military, religious, and administrative center; known for its enormous stone walls, among the largest in the world.
⌚12:00 a.m. 🏔️ Qenqo: Enigmatic archaeological site located about 6 kilometers from the city of Cusco. Known for its intricate stone carvings, underground chambers, and enigmatic amphitheater structure. Qenqo was built during the Inca period, between the 14th and 16th centuries, and served as an important religious and ceremonial center for the Incas.

⌚2:30 p.m. 🏰 Pukapukara: Called “The Red Fortress” due to the reddish color of its limestone stones saturated with iron from the surrounding terrain, it was an important Inca palace strategically located on a mountainous foothill. Its strategic location provides visual dominance, suggesting its function as a control and surveillance center, as well as the gateway to Cusco from the Antisuyo.
